Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden appears to have a better than average record on immigration:
While he does not support giving drivers licenses to irregular immigrants, he has supported the idea of 'sanctuary cities.' He supports a path to citizenship for the 14 million irregular immigrants in the US. His reasoning for voting YES for the border fence was to keep drug trafficking out of the country. He voted YES for the comprehensive immigration reform bill in 2007 and voted NO for making English the official language of the U.S. He has voted YES for creating a guest-worker program, for irregular immigrants to participate in social security, and for allowing more workers into the US for farm work. However, he voted NO to restore food stamp benefits to the children of legal immigrants.
