Touring Poverty

I have blogged earlier about a new fad in the tourism industry: slum tours.

Now a new program has started a Millennium Village Tour which "is a unique experience that introduces the … poverty traps in south-eastern Rwanda and the successful intervention package of the UN Millennium Villages Project" But, be sure not to "not give anything to the villagers -- no sweets.”
