Born to Midwives = No Passports?
"In its crackdown on passport applicants, the U.S. Department of State is targeting people born to midwives or parteras, along the Texas- Mexico border. The US State Department sites the history of fraudulent birth certificates along the border." And now many born legally are being denied passports. Watch this video.

My wife is having no luck getting her passport despite the fact that she has a delayed burth certificate issued by the State of Texas. The last time I looked Texas was part of the US. If Texas says she is a citizen of Texas why is she being denied a US Passport? Maybe Texas should should reconsider seceding from the US.
